Terms & Conditions

1. Driver Eligibility

• Minimum driver age is 25 years.
• Drivers must have held a valid driving licence for at least one year.
• UAE residents must provide a valid Emirates ID and UAE driving licence.
• Tourists must provide a valid passport, visa or entry documentation, and an acceptable driving licence.
• Original physical identification and driving licence documents must be available for verification.
• AMJDrive reserves the right to refuse a rental if eligibility requirements are not met.

2. Booking & Payment

• Bookings can be made through our website, mobile application, WhatsApp, or office.
• An advance payment of AED 50 is generally required to confirm an online booking.
• The remaining rental balance must be paid through the available payment methods.
• AMJDrive offers No Security Deposit rentals.
• Rental prices and applicable booking charges are displayed or communicated before confirmation.
• Online payments are securely processed through authorized payment providers.
• Additional rental-related charges may apply according to these Terms & Conditions and the rental agreement.

3. Rental Period & Extensions

• Minimum rental periods may vary depending on the selected vehicle.
• Rental dates and return times are confirmed during booking.
• Extensions must be requested at least two hours before the scheduled return time and are subject to availability.
• Late returns may result in additional rental charges.

4. Mileage

• Mileage allowances depend on the selected vehicle and rental package.
• The applicable mileage allowance and excess-kilometre rate will be specified in the rental agreement.
• Additional kilometres beyond the agreed allowance may be charged at the applicable agreed rate.

5. Delivery & Collection

• Free self-pickup is available at designated locations in Ajman and Sharjah.
• Delivery and collection services are available in selected UAE locations.
• Applicable delivery and collection charges depend on the location and are confirmed before booking.
• Customers must provide accurate delivery and collection details.
• Changes to confirmed delivery or collection locations may result in additional charges, subject to customer approval.

6. Fuel, Traffic Fines, Salik, Parking & Additional Charges

• Vehicles must be returned with the same fuel level recorded at delivery.
• Applicable refuelling charges may apply if the vehicle is returned with less fuel.
• Fuel levels may be recorded during vehicle delivery and return inspections.
• Customers are responsible for traffic fines, Salik, parking charges, and other applicable expenses incurred during their rental period.
• Applicable administration fees and additional rental-related charges may apply as specified in the rental agreement.
• Charges received or identified after vehicle return remain the customer's responsibility where supported by the rental agreement.
• Additional charges may include excess mileage, fuel differences, late returns, and damage liabilities, where applicable.
• Where customers have provided explicit authorization, AMJDrive may charge their securely saved payment method for verified rental-related expenses, including after the rental period has ended.
• Customers will receive details of additional charges and may contact AMJDrive regarding any discrepancies.
• All charges are subject to the rental agreement, applicable laws, and payment-provider requirements.

7. Insurance & Accidents

• Rental vehicles are covered by applicable motor insurance policies.
• Insurance coverage is subject to the insurer's terms and conditions.
• A valid police report is required in the event of an accident, where applicable.
• Customers may be responsible for insurance excess or damage not covered by insurance, according to the rental agreement.
• Customers must promptly notify AMJDrive of accidents or vehicle damage.
• Unauthorized vehicle repairs are not permitted.

8. Vehicle Use

• Vehicles must be used in accordance with UAE traffic laws.
• Only authorized drivers may operate the rented vehicle.
• Vehicles must not be used for illegal activities, racing, drifting, or reckless driving.
• Unauthorized off-road driving is prohibited.
• Commercial use, delivery services, or transporting passengers for payment requires prior written authorization.
• Subleasing or transferring the vehicle to another person is prohibited.
• Vehicles must not be taken outside the UAE without prior written approval.

9. Cancellations & Refunds

• Booking cancellations and refunds are governed by the AMJDrive Refund Policy.
• Customers should review the Refund Policy before confirming their booking.
• Approved refunds will be processed through the applicable payment method.
• Refund processing times may vary depending on the payment provider.

10. Rental Agreement

• Customers are required to accept the applicable rental terms before receiving the vehicle.
• A rental agreement may be signed at delivery.
• The rental agreement confirms the vehicle details, rental period, mileage allowance, applicable charges, and customer responsibilities.
• Customers are responsible for reviewing and accepting the agreement before vehicle handover.
• Additional charges must comply with the rental agreement and applicable law.

11. Personal Information & Privacy

• Customer information is collected and processed for booking administration, identity verification, payment processing, customer support, and applicable legal requirements.
• Personal information is handled according to the AMJDrive Privacy Policy.
• Customers can contact AMJDrive regarding their personal information through the official support channels.

13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the applicable laws of the United Arab Emirates.

Any disputes will be handled according to applicable UAE laws and the jurisdiction of the competent courts.
